Applesauce Hill Icelandics is located inthe mountains of Western Maine.
I breed registeredIcelandic sheep both horned and polled.
Lambs are for sale in late summer(they are expected in late April this year!) and fleece is available now from the fall shearing.

Applesauce Hill Icelandics has been raising and breeding sheep for 5 years.
My flock consistes of 8 ewes and two rams. Three ewes are polled, all the other sheep
are horned.

Icelandic sheep are dual coated and well adapted to cold temperatures. They are friendly and curious, wonderful
mothers. Primative sheep, they are healthy and independent. In Iceland, they are sent into the mountains for the summer. Here in Rangeley, my sheep live in the mountains year round!

I originally got the sheep to clear wild raspberries from my fields! They are presently attempting to clear my young apple trees, which is less appreciated by their owner!
